Bullish year for $1M+ sales.

Year to date 27 $1M + properties have sold with an average selling price of $1.438M. This includes 6 condos and 21 single family properties. Last year only 12 properties sold year to date above $1M. Demand is high in this category and sales depend on quality inventory being available for sale.

Coincidently there are currently only 27 properties on there market over $1M with an average asking price of $1.942M. These include 18 singles family properties and 9 condos.

It has been a very interesting year so far as we slide into the fourth quarter. Condo sales in Provincetown have been strong – up 20% from last year while single family sales are even with last year.

Below are seven of my favorite $1M+ properties that have sold this year.

61 Commercial Street is a charming waterside house with three bedrooms three baths and 1,663 square feet. It includes a small attached apartment. It is one of my favorite houses in town as it is just one of those iconic Cape Houses that speak to the history and charm of Provincetown. It recently sold over asking for $1.572M with an asking price of $1.459M
